I was born in Germany’s oldest City, Trier, where I had the great privilege of growing up in a multilingual household and traveling frequently around Europe and the United States. I started working in the entertainment industry at a very young age and went on to study Drama at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts(AADA), both in New York City and Los Angeles.

Following my graduation from AADA, I predominately worked as a female rights activist by speaking on many different panels, (media) platforms and gave speeches internationally advocating for victims of sexual violence. It was this work and volunteering in Ukraine in 2022, that made me decide to retire from the german entertainment industry after more than a decade and a half.

I received my B.A in Conflict Studies from Antioch University and today, I have found my place in human rights work while happily living, loving and learning in New York City.

My current interests include shelter and (re)settlement work, international conflict resolution and general humanitarian aid provision. My feminist Blog ResistersJournal exists to shine a light on unique, real-life stories involving everything feminism and human rights.
